This fantasy fiction is exactly what I was on the hunt for, something to pull me in to a different world. A Feather So Black is the story of Fia, a changling who was swapped with the Queen’s daughter as a child. She is raised by the Queen as a weapon and is sent back to the Fair Folk to rescue the Queen’s true daughter. Steeped in Irish lore this is a lovely retailing of Black Swan. I’d pair this book with a Beaded Dreams mug as Fia is only able to travel to the Folk world under the full moon and to keep with the Irish theme let’s top the mug off with an Irish coffee.
