I’ll lead with this… I hated the ending of this book. The rest of it was quite good though. Powers weaves together several storylines that overlap and interact with one another, including a beautiful story of a woman’s love of the ocean. Spanning several decades this storyline touches on racism, sexism, environmental collapse and more. I was very invested in the book and when the last chapters wrapped the story up I was sadly disappointed. If you read this one PLEASE let me know your take!
