Lucy Foley definitely knows how to weave together some twisted storylines and her work in The Midnight Feast is no exception. The book is set at a manor that has been convereted into a luxury hotel. The townspeople hate it but the owner doesn’t care because her family has owned the land for generations. Opening weekend for the hotel brings together many guests with deep dark secrets. As those secretes unfold Foley doles out connections that will leave you wondering how you missed them early on. A murder mystery with unexpected twists and turns and an ending scene that was absolutely perfect, I definitely recommend this book for other thriller lovers. I’d pair the book with a Desert Night Mug topped off with a “Manor Mule” cocktail (grapefruit, ginger, vodka, and a dash of CBD oil.)
