Looking for something like All the Colors of the Dark I stumbled upon this available audiobook from the library with high praise from Good Reads. Although not quite as good as All the Colors this was still a well thought out and written story surrounding the murder of a very unliked but wealthy man in a small town. Set in the 1950s it is full of prejudices from the times and leads some of the characters storylines. If you are looking for a 1950s murder mystery with sad reminders of how little we have progressed I do recommend this book. I would pair it with a desert night mug topped off with cowboy coffee.
