On the hunt for books to get away from the murder mystery thrill genre I stumbled on this book from a fantasy fiction book list. It was a lovely book to listen to and break up the genre binge. The main character is a strong female character that grows up in a library where the books are actually alive. Grimoires full of sorcery. She ends up being swept up into a series of events that uncovers a decades old secret within the sorcerers that rule. I would pair this book with a lovely floral mug and an easy sipping pinot grigio.
