I really enjoyed Medina’s first book so I was excited to pick up Indian Burial Ground this summer. Fair warning Medina is a horror author. This story follows a niece and uncle through harrowing life changes that could be linked many years apart. As Noemi is currently going through the tragedy of loosing her partner her Uncle Louie comes home after many years away and unveils his own harrowing past to his niece. Are the occurrences linked? Is there a deeper rooted evil on the reservation that still lurks? You’ll have to read Indian Burial Ground to find out. I’d pair this book with a Dino Dig mug because you never quite know what’s in the grave until you dig deep.
