King does it again and this time with his son as Sleeping Beauties was co-authored by Steven King and his son Owen. Sleeping Beauties is set in a rural town that has become the epicenter of an unknown sleeping sickness that is affecting only women. As women across the globe fall asleep they become wrapped in a cocoon like structure of white filaments. They are unwakeable and those who try are violently attacked by the women. The book is so anti men that it’s pretty amazing that it was written by two men. I’d recommend pairing this one with my Autumn Flower Mug topped off with a steaming cup of mint tea.
