I was in need of a fantasy fiction novel to help me reset my nervous system. I had seen this book recommended from a few random sources so I went for it. I’ll say that the best art of this book, for me, was the talking gargoyle. He was hilarious and ended up having a deeper meaning. The enemies to lovers was not what I was looking for out of a book so it soured it for me. But the storyline of diviners telling the future was new and engaging. Pair this book with a subtle mountain mug and a cup of light roast coffe.
